Good Food Store brings together all those good intentions we have as consumers – buying from local producers, shopping in season, not taking the car everywhere – and helping you to fulfil them with minimum effort.

Husband and wife team Stephen Mason and Adrienne Taylor are ethical shoppers with a passion for the rich and diverse produce of the northwest. We want to offer you the very best of local food and drink, which you can order online and have delivered to your door at a time to suit you.

Based in Liverpool, we deliver throughout the Merseyside, Cheshire & parts of North Wales. While we intend to expand our delivery area in the future, we are wary of over-extending ourselves and compromising our service to customers. So, for the moment, we are small scale, and very much local.

Local – We are on a dual mission – to promote great north-west food and support our local and regional economy. A report from the New Economics Foundation found that every £10 spent in a local food business employing local people and buying local ingredients, generates £25 for the local economy, so it’s a win-win situation!

Ethical – At the heart of Good Food Store’s business is a commitment to promote ethical & sustainable business. We pay all our suppliers a fair price for their products and pay them promptly – we do not intend to profit at their expense. We view our farmers, growers and producers as partners, and together we’re committed to bringing fantastically high quality products to your door.

Seasonal – The seasonality of European cooking is at the heart of our approach to food. That is why we aim to bring you the finest products when they are at nature’s best. And to make it as easy as possible, we also offer suggestions on how the products we sell can be used through the "Recipes" section of our website.

Quality – All our products are quality assured. Everything in our product range has been personally and carefully selected by the proprietor Adrienne Taylor. And every item that we deliver to you will be of the very finest quality – we’ll only be accepting the very best cuts of meat and the finest grades of fruit & vegetables from quality suppliers.

Convenience – We’ve found the best seasonal products from the best local suppliers – so you don’t have to! We stock everything you need to do a ‘big shop’ and, what’s more, we’ll deliver it all to your door at a time to suit you.
